Here is what some of our recent guests have said:
I had the pleasure of staying here for 2 weeks, while I was at Ashburton Cookery School. I had a very comfortable stay, and Adrian cooked amazing breakfasts every morning 🙂 quite the chef himself. I will definitely be returning to Ashburton, and most definitely stay at No.44 again 🙂
So good I prolonged my stay
A wonderful stay, with the little extras from the owners that made me feel very at home.
Not to mention the quality cooked breakfasts, comfortable bed & convenient location. I stayed two weeks and it was very enjoyable – I enjoyed town for the early nightlife, the running and walking trails on the doorstep, and the peace when I was working in my room.
Both rooms – a double and twin (single) – are very homely & on the second floor, with an extra TV/DVD room. They share a nice shower room, which has a washing machine & dryer

Wouldn’t stay elsewhere if revisiting Ashburton
I was lucky enough to find Number 44 on a Google search, when I was planning on taking a course at Ashburton Cookery School. I can honestly say that my experience was second to none; Adrian and Sally run a warm, welcoming and home from home B and B. Breakfast Menu consisted of good local produce, cooked and presented very well!
I would recommend this B and B to anybody and I will definitely return again.
My wife stayed here last weekend whilst the rest of us were camping. Rather than camp under the stars she prefers 4 walls, a roof, double bed and a hot shower; she got all this and more. She had a really great stay, lovely room, great breakfast and a friendly atmosphere. Thank you.

I stayed at No. 44 for 1 week in November and can honestly say it was a delight. Adrian and Sally went out of their way to make me feel welcome and it felt like a real home from home. The room was clean, comfortable and spacious and it was very useful to have the use of the washing machine and tumble dryer. Adrian’s breakfasts were superb, no menu, he just asks you what you would like. I had an excellent stay and am really looking forward to my next visit. I have no hesitation in recommending this B&B to anybody. Thanks for a great stay.
Lovely room, lovely hosts and the BEST breakfast!!
I have stayed at No 44 for the past three weeks while going to the ashburton school of cookery. Both Adrian and Sal have been very welcoming, making it a really comfortable home away from for the period of my stay. Adrian has gone above and beyond accomadating to my needs since I have been here, letting me leave my bags here over the weekends when I’m away, even lending me a spare phone to use when mine broke! And always pointing me in the direction of a nice walk or local activity. I would highly recommend this B&B to anyone attending the cookery school or just visiting the area. Adrian’s breakfasts are also tailored to what you want, and DELICIOUS!!!
