No 44 Bed and Breakfast



The accommodation consists of two rooms ( one double, one twin ) in this 17th century Grade II listed town house in the heart of Ashburton.

There is a shared shower room in this bed and breakfast and for guests staying for long periods there is access to  a washing machine and tumble drier.


Both guest rooms have flat screen television with built in DVD player, tea and coffee making facilities and access to WiFi.

Prices are £35 per person for a single or £55 double occupancy. Discounts are available for longer stays.

Full English breakfast or something lighter is provided. All the ingredients are locally sourced.

No 44 is close to  the Ashburton Cookery School and Lavendar House Hotel (weddings)

It is also very handy if you are a canoeist on the River Dart or go caving in Buckfastleigh or just enjoy Dartmoor.

Please note we do not take credit or debit cards.

Ashburton has just been named as the best Dartmoor town by the Daily Telegraph in the wake of the Steven Spielberg movie War Horse which was partly filmed on Dartmoor. We are close to Hound Tor and Hay Tor and a forty minute drive from Sheepstor where most of the filming was done.
